We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest article in Science & Diplomacy, titled “The Pivotal Role of EU Research Diasporas in EU-UK Scientific and Diplomatic Relations.”

In this article, we examine the crucial influence of EU research diasporas in promoting robust scientific collaborations and strengthening diplomatic connections between the EU and the UK in a post-Brexit environment. Through an in-depth look at how these research networks bridge gaps, foster knowledge exchange, and contribute to diplomatic objectives, the article provides key insights into the role of science in advancing international relations.

This article has been published as part of a special issue titled “Science Diplomacy — 15 Years On”, in which Science & Diplomacy reflects on the field’s growth, evolution, and critical importance for international collaboration. This special issue brings together perspectives and research that highlight the power of science as a bridge between nations, and we are honoured to contribute to this milestone.
