We are pleased to announce the publication of our new report, titled “The Experiences, Challenges, and Perceptions of EU Researchers in the UK in the Post-Brexit Landscape“.

This report provides timely insight into how EU researchers are navigating research careers, mobility, and collaboration in the UK following Brexit. Based on findings from a 2025 survey, the report highlights both the enduring strengths of the UK research environment and the increasing challenges faced by EU researchers, including administrative barriers, funding uncertainty, immigration constraints, and concerns about career progression.

This publication contributes to CONNECTS-UK’s ongoing efforts to inform policy and institutional discussions on EU–UK scientific relations. By centring the perspectives of EU researchers themselves, the report aims to support evidence-based dialogue on maintaining an open, attractive, and collaborative research ecosystem.
